Eminem is artistically lost and that sucks to watch over the years.

I voted for Future because of the fact that there shouldn't be a divide between the new generation and the old generation.

Future spits his bars in a "different" way then you're accustomed too. His latest album is more lyrical and substantial than Eminem's No Favors verse and most of all, he has the life experience to back up his lyrics unlike Eminem who raps about f----- up s--- and makes seemingly silly lyrics in order to cover up his deficits.

If the EminemSXN is saying that Future isn't good because he's "mumble rap" and Eminem "has bars because he spits in a certain fashion" then they're ignorant. I'm just surprised that EminemSXN is rallying up to vote in a pointless poll only designed to see whether or not people would be stubborn enough to not accept new rap.

EminemSXN wasn't trying to defend their albums, EminemSXN was actively shi--ing on Future for being "different" and "new school".

I can understand your point but even the three albums listed by him don't hold up over time; they make for great novelty listens and studying material but as entertainment? that time has passed.

Like what? Underground isn't spitting lyrical bars that have words but aren't saying nothing, it's about eschewing the mainstream sound for something different and rawer.

Eminem may have bars but is he really saying something today? Are all your favorite underground rappers even saying something meaningful anymore?

That's because Eminem was an artist during a time when radio dictated songs and CD's were hot sellers... That and "Lose Yourself" was a huge hit promoted by radio.

The MTV generation was one of the most active and hugest generations buying music. Now that you can stream it online and put out projects like nothing, anybody can become a star.

I will agree that Eminem had that certain "cadence" to him but Eminem can't even keep up with artists in the modern times that have been working since either the 90s or the mid 2000s to reach the peak they're at right now.

2 Chainz for example has been at it since the late 90s.

Except Eminem has been keeping up with other artists who have been working since the 90s/mid 2000s, his last two studio albums were both huge successes and widely viewed as great.

I think the "issue" people have with him is with the fact that he hasn't been consistent in his sound over his career, but whether you like it or not; the majority of his fans appear to enjoy his new stuff as well as his older work.

Except his new stuff is some of the worst music ever created. At least back in the day he could write a verse that made sense without screaming and actually staying on beat.
