May 4, 2015 Spoiler Don't know how to feel about that ending. Story wise, I figured Barristan would die at some point, just didn't think it would be in an alley at the hands of the Sons of the Harpy. I expect a different conclusion for that character in the books.

May 9, 2015 Spoiler I don't buy Tyrion being Targ although I get how people came to that conclusion. I think that Tywin would have tried to k--- Tyrion much sooner if he knew that Aerys was Tyrion's biological father. He definitely would have revealed Tyrion as a Targ and probably killed him when the Lannisters sided with Robert against Aerys. Now, Jon without a doubt has to be Targ. There's a lot of evidence that leads to that conclusion. Dany seeing the Winter Rose on the wall during the House of the Undying scene (in the books). The Winter Rose being associated with Lyanna. Arya looking like a young Lyanna and Arya and Jon are the only Stark children who have the Stark look (the others look like Tullys). The fact that a lot of people believe that Lyanna wasn't abducted but went willingly with Rhaegar. The fact that it was such a big deal for Ned to stop Robert from pursuing Dany and Viserys. Bran seeing a younger version of his father praying in front of a Godswood, talking about raising these babies as brothers. The fact that Howland Reed has yet to appear in the story and he's the only left alive from the Tower of Joy, so he can confirm the theory. The only way Jon can't be Targ is if GRRM wants to be a d-ck and f--- with his fans.
