Getting a job with no experience

    Just say you were in school the past two years and are taking a break to make money. The longer you wait/the older you get the harder it is to get a job with large gaps of unemployment so jump on it now. And don't think you're above working a job like McDonald's or whatever in the meantime -- anything is better than nothing and you can put that on your resume while you're looking for a different job.

    well im not sure how it works in the US but maccas here dont hire inexperienced 21+ yr olds cause theyre too expensive. not 100% sure but its something like high school leaver at maccas gets about $11ph where a 21 yr old is in the $21ph range. when that gap is almost double they just hire the cheap f---ers, or you get 1 shift a week.

    Nothing like that here. In my state you can pay 15 year olds 85% of min wage or something but that's also cuz they're only allowed to work a certain number of hours per day/week and certain hours of the day. A 16 year old gets paid min wage same as a 21 year old.

    i think thats similar here, not sure about the 85% thing, but theres definitely a max amount of hours 15 yr olds can work. also our minimum wage has been raised too many times, so now s----s getting stupid economically. i dont know exactly, but i know the gap in wages between a school leaver and 20+ yr old is ridiculous. ive literally had employers say to me "oh we can hire you, but you may only have work once a month cause you cost twice as much as half the people here, with only half the experience."

    Say you been helping out an old relative or whatever some s--- like that
    Get a job even if it's fast food
    Then get a better job soon as u get offered and keep climbing probs ur best bet

    With many jobs its about who you know. Maybe you know someone like a friend or relative who could put in a word for you.
