    Nah you're not wrong it's an all-time great song.

    @YDB I re-listened to Idlewild yesterday, because I plan on writing about the tenth anniversary, but man, it's even worse than I remembered. Just like, going through the motions for 90% of it. It loses all the spark they had before--and even since, if you compare it to something like "Royal Flush." Not in the same zip code as Stankonia tbh.

    havent heard idewild or stankonia front to back in months so im going off a jaded memory

    Both albums are way too long and have a fair amount of filler making them kind of a hard front to back listen, but i much prefer the soundscape idewild had compared to stankonias. I'd admit that idewild was executed poorly and had some really boring/bland spots, but the blues/rap sound really shines on a few tracks (Hollywood Divorce, Idewild Blue, mighty o, N2U) and I find myself going back to it far more often than stankonia.

    This is one of those songs I haven't heard in years that I'll be playing for the remainder of 2016 like if it were a new song, thanks for the reminder!

    For all the scattered Dre verses and Big Boi albums we've gotten post-Idlewild, I always did say Benz Friendz is the closest thing we'll get to an actual Outkast/Dungeon Family song in this decade.
