It's aged very well but still weak in comparison to CD and LR. Best thing about the album was the promo roll out with 50.

Now you need to admit that "The Life of Pablo" and everything after looks and sounds like dog-s---, in comparison. Especially "Ye". *Shudders*

Come to grips with the facts. You were a tad light-hearted there. Time to be completely honest. Them s----s is trash, boy. Graduation was never that g.d. bad. You were just a spoiled Kanye Stan. As was I. I never thought it was as bad as everybody else did though. That s--- is triggering. Made me feel crazy.

Crazy to think that 50 was as relevant as Kanye musically for a few years. Anyways, underrated album tbh

I don't think you'd admit it if you thought otherwise, but alright. And to reply to @Thy, to each their own Freestyle 4, Famous, FML, Feedback, Fade and quite a few more are lackluster AF. And those are what people consider to be the standouts. I'd mention 30 hours, but it's got to be the biggest waste of potential good use for a Andre 3000 featuring spot.

I wouldn't say you were "wrong" necessarily. But your original opinion of Graduation was that it was practically just average. The Life of Pablo is just average. Graduation is a solid album, even before we make it to 2016 when Ye finally started showing real signs of artistic declination. More heavy-handed and conservative than just flat-out wrong.

This album literally marked the end of Shady/Aftermath's reign of terror of the 2000's. Literally, right after this album came out and dominated, Kanye and Wayne(and eventually Drake) replaced Eminem and 50 as the Juggernauts of hip hop.

I'm still convinced that, if Relapse and Before I Self Destruct were released before Graduation, they would have been better received than they were in 2009.

As for the album itself, I thought it was dope for what it was: A poppy, progressive rap album with catchy singles that could be perfectly performed in arenas. It wasn't groundbreaking like College Dropout and 808's or high quality like Late Registration and MBDTF but it was easily one of the best rap releases of 2007 along with The Cool and American Gangster.

    It's a fantastic album.

For some reason, I had the idea that a lot of people here didn't like that album.

Ye was really killing it during that time period.

A newer updated rendition of the original John Legend version would have been preferred by me personally, but I get why Kanye used Chris Martin's vanilla a---. *Pause* For more crossover appeal. That was a cold play to his former backpacking troubadour butt buddy from The Double Oh.
