    i don’t think saying graduation—his highest-selling, most mainstream album—was his worst album until he truly fell off is either “heavy-handed” or “conservative”

    I prob rank Graduation higher than most but I know a lot of that is because I have so many positive memories attached to it. It's one of his albums I find myself going back to the most.

    Not now. I mean, in hindsight, it being his absolute worst is kinda farfetched. It always had some of his highest highs on any album in his catalog. Granted, few and far in between. Still, I wouldn't say your opinion on it now is. How you felt in 2009 versus how you feel now are two totally different perspectives. It got a better chance and more time to age and it did so gracefully, if you ask me.
