Dec 7, 2023 Hyped, but I really hope they update the gameplay and controls a bit on this one. Like Red Dead 2 is a phenomenal game and one of my favorites from last generation, but the controls just feel so clunky and dated. Most of the rest of it is good enough that it more than made up for that but the story/map/immersion/overall package is gonna have to be that good again for me to overlook that. I'm not asking them to reinvent the wheel, just modernize it a bit. It's also so annoying how in recent rockstar games you fail missions immediately for not doing them exactly as rockstar wants you to / stepping one centimeter out of what they decided is the bounds of the mission.
Dec 8, 2023 Yeah I was thinking this the last time I played some of the campaign. The part where you have to race the woman as Michael the controls feel a little outdated too. Lost the mission like 10 f---ing times mainly sprinting around turns and f---ing up. Hopefully gta worked on the missions more and make them more complex instead of feeling the same exact thing since San Andreas every mission. The story is the only thing that keeps me interested in gta. Must be getting too old to enjoy gta online like some are obsessed with

Dec 8, 2023 That makes sense. I plan on getting the PS5 Pro when it comes out and giving away my current PS5 to a friend in need. He’s still on last gen and doesn’t play on PC either lol
