Feb 15, 2016 As you know by now Drake received a writing credit on the bonus The Life of Pablo cut, "30 Hours". While we never saw the boy in the studio with Ye or his signature on the infamous notepad, we can probably assume they were together on/around Jan. 22nd when Kanye posted this: Larry Graham is Drake's uncle, and One in a Million was sampled on No More Parties in LA. Drake posted the exact same vinyl on IG later that night. champagnepapi Few more parties in LA. Feb 15, 2016 That entire first verse is Drake, the second one is Kanye. You can just tell by the personality on each verse. The first one is a vintage Drake verse, outlining some distress with a female, but we never find out why or what compelled him to drive 30 hours. Starting a bar with "yeah" is common for a lot of rappers, Drake especially. Also this part is such a Drake line: You had me drivin' far enough to switch the time zone You was the best of all time at the time though Yeah, you wasn't mine though The second verse is Kanye, you can tell by the swagger and the s-----y (but charming) punch lines: I remember being nervous to do Victoria Secret 'Til I pictured everybody with they clothes off And this: Cause you was in college complainin' about it's no jobs But you were suckin' a n-----'s d-ck the whole time Well I guess a blo-jo-'s better than no job Honestly though, we'll never know unless we get the reference track, but my bet would be that Drake laid down his verse and Kanye changed it in chunks at a time like he did with All Day. The entire song has Drake's stamp on it, but I don't think it's written by him outside a few bars. Kanye pretty much did exactly what Drake did with the QM reference tracks, so aside from Drake holding Kanye's hand for the first few steps, I would bet that a lot of this is just Kanye. Also, it's funny how the 2nd verse is what saves the song from a writing standpoint lol.
Feb 15, 2016 I can easily hear Drake spitting that 1st verse. I know the lyrics aren't groundbreaking but the song overall has really grown on me. Definitely better as a bonus cut but it's smooth. The "Yeah's" and "Yep's" at the beginning of some of those bars are signature Drake at this point. It's nice to see the boy help out Ye though.
Feb 15, 2016 Nice observation. These are 100% all Drake. My ex says she gave me the best years of her life I saw a recent picture of her, I guess she was right Expedition was Eddie Bauer edition I'm drivin' with no winter tires in December
Feb 15, 2016 This one too You realize we at the DoubleTree, not the Aria Only thing open is Waffle House, girl don't start with me So much of Kanye has been embedded into Drake that even s--- Kanye came up with on his own here could pass as Drake's.
Feb 15, 2016 Imagine drake saying I will die for those I love God, I'm willing To make this my mission Give up the women Before I lose half of what I own I been thinking About my vision Pour out my feelings Revealing the layers to my soul, my soul
