    I don't usually "celebrate" 420 but some foreigners I know (Americans) want to go to the legislature building and get high and I may join them

    I don't know what those crowds are like other places but here you get a lot of scumbags and people openly drinking as well as smoking, its sketchier than it should be

    Now that I think about it though it's a little ironic that there's so many holidays that involve people getting drunk and no one looks down on that yet others (even myself a little) think it's kinda weird to 'celebrate' 4/20.

    The difference is that 4/20 is celebrating the literal act of smoking weed, whereas 4th of July/NYE are celebrating independence/the new year by getting drunk. I see your point though.

    yesterday I smoke a couple joints and it was my first time in like 3 months and my throat hurt so f---ing bad today
