I don't get the point of a sequel to this, perhaps apologizing for yelling at her on the first? The "your mind state's deteriorating slow" line? Apologizing for the song as a whole?

I'm not against him dedicating a song to his mom, just thought I'd say that - I just think it's hard to see a way of making it a sequel to Headlights, which was a beautiful song in its own right. Reunited in the hook would indeed be amazing!
