Thanks bro, I know that s--- can be rough when you were close friends before. I really hope work things out, whether you want to retry the friendship aspect or not; but I know that can be tough.

And that's awesome to hear, it's always easy to make new friend groups in Uni or College because most people are looking for the same thing, everything will get better

I want to stay friends, I stick with my promises. Before we went out we promised no matter what our friendship will remain, and even throughout the relationship we introduced each other as each other beat mate before gf/bf. No matter how it ended, she was there for me when no one was, and due to that, I'm gong to try remain mates.

I've seen it work before, but it takes restraint. Stick to your promises like you said, things will be alright. Just make sure you don't cross that boundary even when you're tempted y'know. It sounds like you really had an important relationship with this person in all aspects. And that's hard to find. I'm glad you're going about this with a positive outlook.

Yer one thing my mum thought me well is stick to your word unless impossible. Like if she was a serial cheater, f--- her. But she wasn't. Yee wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for her, still be that shy boy that didn't know how to talk to girls. But yer at first will be hard not to get tempted but I have self control.
