    I love UGK and p---- is top 5 OAT as far as I’m concerned, but his solo work is pretty hit and miss. Pimpalation has its moments, and it’s probably better than Sweet James Jones Stories, but I don’t think it’s an accurate display of what he’s capable of

    Bun's albums are better, considering he's a better rapper than p----, but p---- has that personality that makes his albums more enjoyable than Bun's imo. Then again, never took the time to check out UGK in the fullest.

    Remember when I said Kiss Tha Game Goodbye was the best RR album? I'mma take that back, this might just be the one.



    Much like Kiss, Ghost had one hit on the radio and that was it. Which is a d--- shame, considering it's P, n----s always slept on Ghost.

    Also would like to note that this album is f----- up on streaming services. I've tried Spotify, Deezer, no luck. Only YouTube seems to work. A few tracks are missing. Not sure if it's sample clearance issues or what. Same thing happened to Raid on Madvillainy, though that might only be on Spotify, Deezer has no issue.

    So weird how I ended up getting myself into S.U.C. DJ Screw's flip of KB & Lil Flea 's "Cold World" probably saved my life recently after a rough patch and before leaving me absolutely inconsolable when Nip died as of recent. Ugh.

    If mixtapes were to be considered classics, this tape here better be in the top 5.



    This just might be the magnum opus of both Spitta's and Alchemist's career. This d--- well should've been an album. Scottie Pippen is still a top 10 song of the decade. Literally everything is perfect on this tape.

    unbelievable heat. I still think the first Pilot Talk is my personal favorite Spitta project but this is top 3 no doubt. Alchemist is godly

    PT1 def Spitta's best album, but if we're talking projects as a whole, Covert Coup probably the best one, or Verde Terrace or How Fly if that counts. This Ain't No Mixtape ain't bad either. Spitta's discog is stacked as h---.

    This album might have just got me into rap. Intro alone, I could listen to that s--- for hours. Hey Ma, Oh Boy, Daydreamin, Cam had the hits too. Cam jacking the Ambitionz As A Ridah beat. Tight. I don't think Purple Haze was better than this.

    Catching up but g.d. I love your choices!

    - p---- C has this larger than life presence, very few rappers have the sort of swag and style that he brings, it was the perfect foil for Bun B's realism. I haven't heard this in awhile, reminds me of all the great stuff that came out from Texas during that era of Swishahouse prominence.

    - Oh s--- another Lox b-----r, SP one of my personal favorites, a real master with the metaphors and has a way of saying the hard facts of life sound so effortless. I have so many memories of A Gangster & A Gentleman, has that hazy dusty production that gives Styles the perfect canvas for his ability. Over here you'd get major grins from people in the sidewalks bumping Good Times.

    - It's so impossible for me to pick my favorite Curren$y mixtape, but on somedays Covert Coup probably my answer for his best work altogether. Alchemist is a freaking genius, this has that griminess & steel that we all love from Mobb Deep but with Spitta laying down some opulent vibes for days. Scottie Pippen forever one of the goat songs, so happy we got Fetti years later.

    - Cam is my favorite rapper, words can't describe how much I love this album since it started his trailblazing run with the Roc. It has all the vicious imagination and street tales that Cam has made his legendary career of, those soul samples only intensify the mood. He gave us the true glimpse of what Juelz looked capable of, I forever associate this album with that wonderful summer of 02, this s--- never getting old to me

    Yeah Cam got bodied by Mase, but that doesn't take any respect from Cam to me.
