Next album is Big Lurch's It's All Bad
    [IMG]

Though I won't consider this a Houston classic, it's most definitely a horrorcore classic. The only album released by the man, would've liked another album from him.

But we all know this guy is famous for something else...

I'm so fascinated by Lurch's story. Surely must be the most f----- up story in hip hop history. This album is really dope, would have loved to hear more from him. At least we still got Brotha Lynch

Next album is by The RZArector, Bobby D, RZA's Bobby Digital In Stereo.

It's impressive how long this album has held up. Back when it first came out, I say this was WAY ahead of it's time. Dare I say it reaches Deltron levels. Likewise, this is RZA's best album and pretty much started to fall off lyrically at least after Digital Bullet.

This album isn't for everyone though. It's RZA, his delivery and nutty metaphors and lyrics are gonna throw a lot of people off, as expected. Beats can get really undiversified at times. It's not amazing, but still great. Check out Digital Bullet too. *dododo*

I still like In Stereo, I just hate how disjointed the album is. Relistening to this rn.

Edit: Should note that it's disjointed as a Wu Tang project and as an album alone. It's missing that grimey Wu sound that's been in the previous albums, which threw a lot of people off, myself included. As an album alone, it's very inconsistent. It's not Digi Snacks level, but it's very all over the place, even on RZA standards.

It’s probably RZA’s best solo project but not something I ever need to listen to in full again

Next album is Dom Kennedy's Get Home Safely.

Dom K's album run is insane. Yellow Album is still being bumped. From The Westside With Love still cranking. This was well worth it. Dom might have fell off in recent years, but he's still one of the best to ever do it.

Next album is Busta Rhymes' Extinction Level Event.

If I had to pick any Busta album to be on here, this would be the one. It's still the best Busta project dropped so far. New album in 2019 I heard. Can't wait.

Busta has a pretty good discog, just never dropped that career defining album he was always capable of. Came close a few times, ELE probably the closest tbh. Havent listened to this in years, I'm loving these throwbacks you're posting in here. good memories.

His first three albums are tbh. Either this or The Coming is probably his best work yet. Couldn't say why Busta's albums don't get enough attention per say, can't say singles, besides ELE. ELE never really had that single that propelled the album up the charts like his other albums, like It Ain't Safe No More & When Disaster Strikes, kinda explains it being the second worst selling Bus album. Never really dropped a bad album, Back On My BS & IASNM aren't bad, just very forgettable.

Busta is undeniably a good rapper, but he’s never been able to channel his obvious talent into a good front to back album. ELE is probably the closest he ever came, but it’s bloated af and Busta’s style just isn’t varied enough to carry a project for over an hour.

This is true, a lot of his albums are bloated. The Coming wasn't and it is a great album, just don't think it reaches that classic tier.

I f---ing love Cam, particularly Children of the Corn Cam when he was hungry and raw as f---. I obviously f--- with his later s--- and Dispet heavy, but I will always have a soft spot for children of the corn. It’s a d--- shame so many of those old songs have such s-----y sound quality. Someone needs to remaster all those old classics. Still doesn’t stop me from listening to them though.

Since Covert Coup was discussed, thought I'd make an addition to HC, Mixtape Monday!

Basically a mixtape will be brought up, and everyone's gonna discuss it as usual.

This Monday's gonna be a 4/20 classic (I know, late as h---). You should already know what it is..
