I love this album and i still agree somewhat with op. Another thing is I was upset when I saw the production credits and saw Travis not producing a majority of the album. Thats young dj khaled s---

i find the album to be a very enjoyable listen but most of the reasons why i enjoy it aren't relative to travis. i enjoy the overall vibe of the album and the guest features -- 21, 3k, kendrick -- and it's a great listen when i'm in the right mood. would never claim it to be album of the year or anything though. it does hold my attention for the most part and i usually don't skip over anything.

On paper, it's a much better listen front-to-back than Rodeo, which other than the stretch from Oh My Dis Side to Night Call is sequenced terribly. I've listened to this album probably five times and I don't remember a single line Travis said on this entire album besides 'stroke my cactus' and the part where he gives a nod to Day N Nite. Even if Rodeo is a terrible listen front-to-back and Travis still isn't that interesting, the star-studded guest line up and the grandiose production makes each song feel like an event. How can you borrow this much from Kanye, Future, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd (and h---, even Kid Cudi) and have nothing to show for it?

might download it after reading this tbh. i find travis pretty boring most the time too and since this is meant to be feature heavy and good production ill probs give it a listen

Most of the songs are forgettable af.
Rodeo was actually 1000 times better than this. It was a more diverse and complete project, with awesome prods and each feature was perfectly used (except from Kanye lol).
I don't know what drugs @BigCountry is on when he says it's a bad listen front to back.

I think the stretch from Oh My to Nightcrawler is really good actually. But then you have piss on your grave thrown in in the middle which throws things off as well as terrible songs like flying high, impossible, etc. Though there are a few good songs in the back half like Maria I'm drunk.

Flying High and Impossible are better than a lot of songs on Birds. Impossible is actually a very good song.

I prefer POYG over impossible, flying high, pornography and quite a few others actually. I just think it disrupts the album.
