Nov 30, 2014 I remember Game tweeted or instagramed he woke up to a cloud in the shape of a wolf and it was destiny it happened or something so he took a pic... and someone called him out on it and you can easily find it on the net Year of the Wolf was bad, but it has it's songs on there. Bigger Than Me, F.U.N. The Purge, to name a few.
Nov 30, 2014 Game has taken Ls on social media a few times. His picture with Tupac and lying about some Arabian prince buying stuff come to mind. - I don't mind Game's name dropping.
Dec 1, 2014 Im confident enough to admit I place Power of the Dollar over Get Rich or Die Tryin' , not by much, but here is my reason why: I feel Power of the Dollar shows the true hunger inside of 50, while he spoke about similar topics on both albums, Power of the Dollar was more than music as he was living the life he spoke about throughout the album the same time he was recording it. Get Rich or Die Tryin' was his farewell to that life, he was now on platform that meant he could talk about his past while partying in the hamptons, so that hunger & grind was something of the past, but all of that said, Get Rich or Die Tryin' was truly the last amazing gangster rap album.
Dec 1, 2014 There are days when i prefer POTD over Get Rich. POTD was criminally underrated. It had that gritty NY sound.
Dec 7, 2014 Erase Me by Kid Cudi is one of my favorite songs ever, regardless of the cringeworthy kanye joke at the end
Dec 16, 2014 It will spark some controversy around here, but I think The Pinkprint is a better album than 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Not by much, but still.
Dec 17, 2014 I didn't expect much of the Pinkprint but there are some good songs on it. Just heard it once though. But FHD is pretty great.
Dec 17, 2014 Takeover is better diss too. Ether have a amazing third verse, but in overall TO is better. "You little f---, I got money stacks bigger than you" In addition Takeover sampling The Doors... That ends the discussion.
Dec 17, 2014 I heard both albums twice and I havel no desire to listen to FHD again anytime soon. It's not a bad album by any means, but the straightforwardness of his lyrics really puts me off. It doesn't match to image he's trying to build around his music. When you look at the cover of this album, you see Cole sitting on the roof thinking about some introspective s---. You can start with the premise that there's gonna be a lot of deep thoughts and some extra complex rhymes, but you actually receive pretty basic written lyrics. I don't buy it all.
