Dec 13, 2017 Revival, as an album, is f---ing garbage. Anyone who actually loves this album has poor tastes in music and that is an objective fact. Pop-rock-rap fusion is terrible and embarrassing coming from a 45 year old white man. Look at this track record: Relapse was bad. I don't care if it became a 'cult classic' - it is not good music. I don't want to listen to serial killer r--- Jamaican Vicodin fantasies; I am grown. Give me actual MUSIC with actual content. Recovery was bad (and contrived). I don't f--- with pop music. Miss me with the s-----y delivery, poor mixing, corny writing and generic production. MMLP2, as a whole, was bad. Sounds like a mixtape of random half-assed tracks thrown together. A very transparent money grab. Revival is just bad. I can't believe I actually agree with @Big Dangerous on this one. Eminem cannot craft an album anymore and that's the g.d. truth. I will say though, he can still rap his a--- off but musically speaking, his artistry is nonexistent. Revival was so bad it doesn't even deserve an actual review. I think I've grown out of Eminem, its like he makes music for teenagers. also: Believe is better than 90% of his material post-hiatus and is how he should of been sounding this whole time. I want modernized Eminem, not this s-----y pop-rock-rap s---. Next time, put Eminem on good production and we'll have a solid album that has actual replayability.
