Dec 17, 2017 Hearing these sponsors on rap songs is sickening and really annoying. It definitely started out with Run DMC and that song "My Adidas" but you hear that song about Holiday Inn with Chingy called "Holidae Inn", J Cole talks about Bowflex on "Immortal", but Eminem is the worst with mentioning Target, McDonalds, Burger King (multiple times), and worst of all his chorus has "im down your throat like Chloroseptic". Like they can think of many other lyrics that don't have to rhyme with a company but they must pay some mad money just to get these rappers to rap their lyrics so people remember them and have their fans repeat them so you remember their brand and mention it to others. Anyone else notice this?
Dec 17, 2017 Probably not but im sure the labels make him mention in their rap. Like...why do they have to be mentioned?? He says, "Makes me want to go to Target just to look at sh*t." in that song. I was like...why Target?
