    if by 'classic' you mean an utter disaster that contributed to the public's lost confidence on how he handled covid, leading to his defeat for reelection... yes lol

    like, ik this isnt ur thing, but being combative and 'tough' doesnt make a good president. go live under putin or whatever other autocrats around the world rn if thats what appeals to u so badly

    Trump never held any elected office... not a City Council or even a School Board office. Ended his Presidency with a 34% approval rating. Isn't stable.

    i wouldnt even say Popularity , its more like celebrity It factor.
    ive said before, that the US electorate got into this habit where they needed the New Thing in presidential elections. part of that is post-reagan "We Need an Outsider" bs, part of that is post-JFK, politicians need to be celebrities or TV ready. but like:

    JFK - camelot Star (Yes)
    lbj, nixon/ford - no lol
    Carter- the peanut farmer, gov anti dc outsider,,, the first 'rock n roll' president (Yes)
    Reagan - fmr hollywood Star, anti DC/government outsider, Rly sets the mold (Yes)
    bush - no lol
    Clinton - generational Star , mr baby boomer third way dem (Yes)
    bush - ehhh kinda. Texas cowboy, anti dc gov, beats a VP (yes/no)
    Obama - Star, global celebrity (Yes)
    Trump - umm. (Yes)

    so biden is the most traditional pol to be president since Bush. it's actually healthy we elected a fmr veep, fmr senator who isnt known for being a star lol. just a stable, decent guy who can handle the job. 58% approval rating etc

Who can forget how mad you were when ex-President Trump went on Hannity every night to be asked, like, “thank you sir is it true that everyone treats you very unfairly? sir also is it true sir that your shoulders are big and oh so strong?”

    The stock market grew 143% under Obama. It grew more under Clinton... it grew 47% under Trump.


    The job market has been better under Democrats than Republicans for 100 years... way better with Obama than Trump.

    Agreed. Democrats are much more aware of Republicans game now of obstruction/stalling/running out the clock. They’re willing to engage in bipartisan talks to appease their more moderate members (Manchin/Sinema etc) but they’re not h--- bent on reaching a bipartisan solution. If Republicans don’t want to play ball, they’ll pass their own bill. Exactly what they did with the COVID-19 relief bill.
