All appeals to authority are not logical fallacies, please lol. I understand you feel like you gotta over overcompensate by pretending to be this well read expert in every field you discuss but normal people who live normal lives don’t do this. No one reads the primary sources on germ theory but we still all wash our hands & bathe ourselves on the regular.

Because I, like others, trust academic consensus & don’t rely on fringe outliers to dictate my world view. The same way I trust the research that went into constructing the car I drive; I trust academics when they widely criticize another person’s research.

Exactly. Man has an anti-American government stance on all his posts I’ve seen yet red scare is baked into every political statement he conjures up, make it make sense.

Regardless of people’s opinions on marxism as a whole, central planning & controlled markets are much more efficient at tackling crises as these than more traditional laissez-faire capitalism.

December of 2020 was a year after the virus showed up.

That's like saying condom campaigns in the 90's didn't do anything to stop AIDS since so many people got it in the 80's.


In fact it proves the point that masks work because Asian countries that traditionally wear masks to stop the spread of airborne diseases had hundreds of people die of Coronavirus... while the countries that don't wear masks had hundreds of thousands of people die.

I wasn't talking about when Hannity interviews Trump... I was talking about how Trump doesn't know anything about politics outside of catchphrases he heard on Fox News.

No President has held a daily press conference... that's why they have Press Secretaries.


Biden does answer questions directly... actually doesn't pander to business like his last half a dozen predecessors.

When a business owner asks him why he can't keep his employees from quitting... he just tells them the straight up truth that it's because they don't pay them enough money. It's refreshing.

Neoliberalism's father was Ronald Reagan and it's mother was Margaret Thatcher and it peaked under their reigns. I don't like them. No one thinks Biden is Ronald Reagan.

But you don't know what Neoliberalism is and your just using as a buzz word in your salad.

Democrats obviously aren't perfect... they are trying to make the government and America work... the Republicans for my entire lifetime only get tax breaks for the billionaires and millionaires and f--- up America and the world and are completely embarrassing to me as an American.

Keep in mind that the first 2 years of Obama's term, he had majority in both chambers of Congress. Whereas Biden has a 50-50 Senate, including a few conservative democrats.
Presidents are not dictators. They can only pass laws if Congress approves them.

HIV does cause AIDS. Chemo is an effective treatment against cancer masses.

If you have HIV and don't treat it... you will die of AIDS and can potentially spread HIV to other people who will develop AIDS if it isn't treated.

If you have masses of cancer that can be reduced by Chemo... it is better for you to reduce them with Chemo than just changing your diet.


Child trafficking is a great evil... I'm against it.

800,000 kids aren't trafficked in America in a year... 16,000 children are abducted by non-family members a year in America and that is awful... it's a big deal and no one has ever took it lightly.
