I see some people say certain rappers' voices turn them off. Some people say Wayne and Boosie's voices especially turn them off etc. Generally for me the voice doesn't bother me as long as the material is dope, I mean obviously I don't wanna hear a r-----ed voice or s--- that sounds like Bert and Ernie battling. Can a voice turn you off an artist or are you chill as long as the material is dope?

I'm of the opinion it doesn't mean s--- but I've seen many people say certain artists' voices turn them off. I'm sorta curious why. Boosie's one of the most common ones but I really dig his voice tbh, it's different.

I feel like you're voice can lay somewhere in the middle and it doesn't really affect a rapper overall...however when you get to the extremes it can make me elevate or tank how much I enjoy that artist.

For example Meechy Darko. Voice is everything with him...complements him and makes sure he is always the standout and never gets old

Then you have someone whose voice works against them like say, Joe Budden...no range at all, constantly whiney sounding and sleep inducing
