the oversaturation of triplet use is completely logical and the tool isnt something that works best "sparingly"

Anybody can get good at rapping, it's odd though like the people who claim to be rapping for years are usually trash I don't understand how that works

zzz you definitely would with that attitude

its not a necessity but looking at rap/song as something black and white is soooooo old school. contemporary artists have time after time proven that it can be worked as a gray scale. by only learning one of them you're limiting yourself to a fraction of your potential

plus theres the part of controlling your vocal punch, rhythm and enunciating text, something all of the singers ive worked with (including a lot of opera singers) have had a lot of problem with

if you're a serious vocalist in 2017 you should learn how to rap well

bc ofc u f---ing cant sing if u havent even tried its not like some natural gift where some are born w the voice of an angel and others are useless

a voice is a voice and if u cant sing that just means ur using it wrong, some grow up talking w the right air compression and resonance and are more disposable to the right techniques but just excusing it w "nah my voice is s--- i cant sing" is so f---ing pathetic

at least say "I'm too scared to try" or "im 2 lazy to bother" bc both would be more accurate

    both would be inaccurate

i've tried for years. i blatantly can't sing, for a wide variety of reasons m8

    it's not that complex

    some people just can't sing

ur either not trying hard enough or ur taking the wrong approach

any1 can sing, this is known to any1 w basic knowledge in the field

youd literally have to destroy ur vocal chords like the D.O.C. to not be able to
