    the concept of NWTS was drake begging for recognition so what you are saying scorpion intends to do, was the entire point of NWTS.

    no it isn't. there's more to art and life than commercial success. everyone here would trade lives with jay but the beef was still the beef.
    drake was a deadbeat dad who decided to claim his son as part of an adidas campaign and pusha exposed that. don't do mental gymnastics. it was a landslide.
    meek is once again a huge star. if you go off the internet and talk to people who self-identify as rap fans, he's once of the most popular in the country. i hear his EP –– which isn't even very good, just scraps –– in public. and i'm in los angeles.

    Literally grew up without my dad lol I’m not talking out of my a--- here. From what’s been reported, Drake has been financially taking care of the Mom/kid for months now.

    The mom apparently can’t get into the U.S./Canada for some legal reason. At least that’s what I read. I guess she tried to fraudently get residency some some how & now she’s not allowed into the country. Also lol @ financially providing for your baby mama/child being a “scum move.” I f---ing wish...lol.

    Drake’s kid will be rich and will live life to the fullest, all because of Drake’s career and success. And pushas diss didn’t effect drake at all. Still got over a BILLION streams. Still the highest selling rapper. Pushas diss sounded like a guy still stuck in the 90s. 10 months ago it was announced drake knocked up a p--- star. It could happen to any famous person. Pusha didn’t expose s---, in reality. And didn’t even know that s--- until jealous Kanye told him. Kanye admitted he was mad Drake’s music gets played everywhere and his doesn’t anymore lol

    lol c'mon kanye had every right to give pusha the adidon info after drake threw him under the bus on duppy. you could argue that what drake did was justified considering kanye produced infrared, but then again kanye's job as producer isn't to boss around pusha and tell him what he can and can't rap about. maybe it did make him seem ungrateful, but it would've been for the best if drake didn't take it to heart.

    I love More Life because its format gave drake space to play with his influences and interests (dancehall, trap, atmospheric Toronto, grime, etc). It plays smoothly like a radio show.

    Scorpion is more rigidly divided for the worse and is 26 songs of bad punchlines, thinly veiled shots at kanye, and extended verses about social media games/breakups from a dude in his 30s. It’s tiresome. There’s a few good moments like blue tint and the singles and Sandra’s rose and March 14 but the rest just doesn’t do it for me.

    But yeah I relistened to this album the other day and it’s honestly pretty s---. Barely better than ye if better at all. I really wanted to like it cuz the singles got me hyped but it does nothing for me
