Apr 18, 2017 Basically rather than glorify this tweet like I normally do due to me being such a big fan of Eminem's singing and hooks But in this thread I will pose a different question do u think Eminem regrets singing in his music from The Eminem Show album on wards after seeing how much his fans like this 1 here over glorify it. I pose this question to everyone but in particular @Spatula @EminemBase @Koolo
Apr 18, 2017 1. Why would he regret something like that? 2. When she says "sings", she basically means "raps" but doesn't know the difference. Why do you keep obsessing over random tweets?
Apr 18, 2017 As a respectable poster this post is cringe of course she knows the difference between singing and rapping she just listens to him and likes his music for his singing not his rapping Almost all his females listen to him for his singing The reason he may regret it is because of how much his fans the female fans, the teenage female fans, the female fans in general over glorify it
Apr 18, 2017 So you think Eminem goes "oh no, my hook is too popular and everyone loves it. I regret doing this" ? There's nothing to regret. He gets popularity and money. And if you ask him, he never said anything that wasn't true to himself, so he's getting love for himself and his songs. Regret is the last feeling to feel there.
Apr 18, 2017 At one point Eminem was the most popular person in the world. If he didn't want it, he wouldn't make popular songs and have people do marketing for him. Popularity is why everyone does it.
Apr 18, 2017 Of course he does hence why he made Recovery, cancelled Relapse 2 and dissed the original Relapse
Apr 19, 2017 True. Ironically, "Mr Don't Give a f---" maybe gives the most f---s of all, which is a bit cringe. Encore was dog s---, but he was bored & lazy, it wasn't cringe in the sense of him trying hard and failing... Recovery was the first time Em was cringe. Begging for approval from not-real-rap-fans-anyway and pandering to the pop-rap market... Like... Why. It's like he confused that segment of his fanbase for real rap fans or something. Who gives a f--- what anybody with s--- taste and poor analysis thinks anyway. I can't think of another case so desperate, where a rapper, recently, released an album... got a mixed reaction and then did a total 360 and compromised their s--- to the high heavens, whilst at the same time literally apologising for their art and begging for approval. When I spell it out like that... it really does become pure cringe. Like, wtf Em? Recovery is a pretty solid overall project, as it turned out; cringe elements notwithstanding. But still, just on principle to do that, ESPECIALLY given who he is - the provocateur of rap who apparently loves pissing people off and is unapologetic. He unraveled his entire artistic character for the sake of more sales and thumbs-ups from 12 year old girls & Lil Wayne fans. Seriously. He didn't personally sing much on Recovery though, and hasn't much in general... So I guess you're referring to his hooks - in general? I don't see why he would regret them, but I hope (and think he should) regret scrapping RX2, not having confidence in his vision and compromising his entire character, artistry, legacy and probably trashing a classic - for popularity. Especially when he didn't need it. He was already respected as an all time great, and thought to be amazing - lyricially, artistically etc. - it was the first time (as one critic perfectly put it) that he sounded 'clumsy', because he rush recorded s--- in a lazy style to please the masses. Bizarre. That - he should regret till the day he dies.
Apr 19, 2017 Didn't read any of this s---.... except: "Mr Don't Give A f---" THAT should be the next album
Apr 25, 2017 Jesus Christ. How many times are you going to bring this up? How many more angles are you going to try and find to talk about Eminem singing? What the f---
