Apr 23, 2018 Yeah if anything revival being s--- on will inspire him to....drop medicore albums for the next ten years welp have fun calling 6/10s classics emsxn
Apr 23, 2018 Revival is God's work without a doubt. But I would not be against an EP with some Dr. Dre, Mel-Man and others productions on it. Or even Eminem's production too.
Apr 23, 2018 Yeah I’ll be excited but my expectations will be much lower and I won’t be as hyped for it as I am for Yeezy season this summer. I hope he actually gets something out sooner than later while the reaction to Revival is somewhat fresh. As a long time fan I really want Eminem to have another well received, critically acclaimed album. He needs to cut it down to 10-12 tracks and either have a running theme or make a concept album.
Apr 24, 2018 Revival wasnt even what em wanted to put out (lets go back to mmlp2 they want me to flip at the label they want me to follow up with another one after recovery) basically stating that the label pushed revival in a sense after it was put out it seems like ems having alot more fun with his life now social media back to bring out fif n dre i think the revial think was a weight of his shoulders just to make the label happy it seems he can do what he wants now
Apr 24, 2018 Imagine eminem releasing his album is yeezy season He will destroy his career. (What’s left of it)
Apr 24, 2018 You’re like one of those closet h---s who goes round being really homophobic calling everyone gay to cover up the fact that they’re gay themselves. Except it’s in relation to being a Stan and pretending to hate eminem. You’re like a poster child for the emsxn
Apr 24, 2018 Yes, but ONLY if Dre is heavily involved. If dre has nothing to do with it then i honestly wont be excited nor listen unless it gets unanimous praise or something. Also, if rick rupin homeless man is involved then... f--- idk thatd be terrible.
Apr 24, 2018 Nah. I was hyped AF for MMLP2. I thought... okay, he's taken his time, he's thought this out - he, IMO, was trying to make a modern day pop MMLP with Recovery; just lashing out mixed with personal s---, but I think he tried to make it a defining album of the times, the fact Mr. Porter kept referring to at as MMLP-like at the time too felt strategic like they were trying to position it as that - plus the fact it came after Relapse - when he was viewing R1 and 2 as 'like SSLP and MMLP' (he said this), so I think he was trying to create a new MMLP with Recovery in a sense... Then when everybody was like 'Nah', I honestly believe he went 'Okay f--- it. Let me just literally do MMLP 2', because that's all everything kept getting compared to, it kept hanging over him and it still is and he's obsessed with it. When I heard that Berzerk intro and saw that Beats advert with the logo and speakers I was like FUCKKK, this is going to be GOAT. Then I saw the tracklist and had a fit before I heard it, so I sat with my arms crossed / nah serious though, I was and am still very disappointed in MMLP2 if I am looking at it as related to MMLP in any way, and as an ALBUM. But just in terms of my pure reaction to the tracks then and now... I got a lot out of it, it's a fun album and an engaging listen, I love most of the tracks a lot. s--- is dense. BUT, MMLP2 is when I lost faith that he can ever make a classic or even a great album again. Because he took so long on that album and put so much into it and clearly had all the potential material there but his insecurities (trying to please everyone) and weakness with commercial pressure from the suits and just his inability to put a sound together... f----- it. So I thought if a sequel to his masterpiece and like a billion song attempts / 3 years + can't do it for him... Nothing will. So with that - I had 0 faith in Revival but still expected some of his best tracks ever. I didn't even get that tbh, and Revival was just exactly what I was fearing but expecting from that tracklist and all his worst habits lately. Revival officially killed Em hype for me. I never thought I'd say that but it did, I didn't even feel that excited downloading Revival tbh, because I knew it would be some bs. I will of course always check though, as you never know what may come out of Em's mouth next or what he might make. I'm always excited to hear what he does on the mic, but I would not be anticipating a great album or hyped in that way again now.
