Lol.... think some of you are taking this question too seriously and literally.

The way I see it there's 2 kinda answers for this thread: 1. You'd go back in time to see/experience a certain event or time period or 2. You go back in time to change something.

Of course if this were actually serious we'd have to be decent human beings and say something like 'I'd prevent the holocasut' but it's not, so we just go with something that we'd like to change or experience in our own lives or whatever.. that's how I see it at least.

I would go back in time and k--- my Grandfather

That would stop him parenting my father, who then wouldn't exist, thus not meeting my mother to give birth to me..

But because I no longer exist, there would've been no one to k--- the (my) Grandfather so my birth would still happen

It'd be cool to visit the past like decades and centuries ago but what are the chances you'd get killed by war or plague I wouldn't risk that

I'd probably do back to when I was 10 and do everything differently or back to 2004 and stop myself from joining rb

I'd love to time travel to the future though but imagine you did have a time machine and you set it 1000 years in the future and you end up being transported into deep space because the earth was destroyed by an asteroid and you die in the deep black void
