I guarantee you before the 1500's the last thing you wanna be is white unless you'd like to live in a literal horror story ruled by european versions of isis, european versions of indian mass street shi--ing on a scale so large it actually killed people, the pinnacle of unsanitary living conditions, witch hunting and being burned at the stake, a plague spanning centuries killing hundreds of millions of people and entire cities littered with dead diseased bodies which was all you could smell and entire towns of infected people walking around like zombies with missing flesh. It was literally the apocalypse. I'd much rather be put on a slave ship in the 1700s rather than live in medieval Europe
