Every one of you seems detached from the concept that feminism is ideology, not people, and "bashing" (criticizing) feminism is not "bashing women" (extremely laughable since most women aren't even feminists).

No actually, it was the hang up of the one ^^^^ who was trying to imply not being a feminist means you hate women. Ironically one of the biggest reasons barely anybody supports feminism anymore.

And the CONSAD report was not a blog, it's a government report that concluded exactly what I said. Convenient how I never got a response to that one.

The consad report was also from 2009 and in the minority, where there have been multitudes of government reports from countries around the world that still display a wage gap (here's the first one from a quick Google search https://www.wgea.gov.au/news-and-media/national-gender-pay-gap-record-high-188)

We're talking about the US, where this "wage-gap" is completely the result of a difference in choices between men and women. Not "discrimination".

Are you even reading HOW they come to those numbers, rather than looking at the numbers and automatically concluding there's a problem?

No real economist, or anyone who actually knows how to read statistics, takes this "discriminatory wage-gap" claim seriously.

I mean, I'd you're talking about overt discrimination, then yes, in the western world, the majority of outright discrimination is largely condemned and not prevalent. However, the choices made by people (Malr and female) are still heavily influenced by social stereotypes that result in women taking lower wage jobs or their choice to halt their career instead of the father t raise a child.

"3rd year in stats" and you provide about the most basic and bare study you really possible could've Idc if it's the first link. If you knew what you were talking about then you would've known better than to provide that as an example.

As for the other "point", you people always look for ANYTHING to lay blame on for the simple fact that women generally do not choose the higher-paying fields, because those fields take a lot more than women generally are willing to put in. Women are 2:1 more likely to be hired in STEM over men, they get accepted into and graduate from college in higher numbers, there's more scholarship options. Women just choose to not pursue it. Women generally prefer stability, not long hours with a high work load.

Stop trying to make a problem out of something that's not a problem. If you want to "fix" it (implying there's anything to fix), start telling women they're no longer allowed to pursue the fields they're into because YOU whining crybabies think they make bad choices that need adjusting (yes, this is your argument).

Are you gonna be the one to tell women they must follow your idea of what they should do? I mean, there's literally NOTHING forcing women to take nursing, sociology, etc. over law and engineering.
