Feb 2, 2018 only Book of Soul, Heavenly Father, and Dear Mama have made me cry multiple times aside from this hip hop wise. Make My by The Roots made me cry but that was because it came on shuffle the day after my grandad died. so that was like a one time thing.

Feb 2, 2018 I'm not about to defend lupe fiasco for an extended period of time lol but, Tetsuo & Youth is a good album. The production is great, it has some of Lupes best hooks (Dots and Lines, No Scratches, etc) and the majority of the album is really enjoyable to listen to. It's not a really bad album, theres absolutely no justification for saying that unless you really hate Lupe fiasco lol
Feb 2, 2018 I didn't listen to it much, so I didn't have much of opinion, but in the following year or two I really branched out musically. Listened to a lot of the s--- he was drawing from. Got it more when I finally revisited it sometime last year.
Feb 2, 2018 @Packman to be fair I haven't listened to it since it came out, but man, post-Lasers Lupe I just cannot get behind. It's like @waste was saying--it's just so pseudo-intellectual. Lasers isn't great but it's not bad in the same way as f&l2 and t&y. I wasn't a fan of the production other than a few songs either. I liked his first two albums though. Maybe I'll take another listen but I just remember it being awful.
