By starting that title at the peak, he both sets himself apart from nearly all other musicians in history and joins an exclusive club reserved for some of the most successful music acts. Last week's No. 1 album, which also belonged to Future, hasn’t drifted too far from the top. The rapper’s self-titled album began in first place last week and has only slipped to No. 2. That means that Future owns the top two slots on the Billboard 200 this frame, which is an incredibly rare accomplishment. According to Billboard, Future is now just the 10th musician in history to place albums at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously, and he is in some pretty impressive company. He joins fellow artists Peter, Paul & Mary, Herb Alpert, The Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Jim Croce, Guns N’ Roses, Nelly and Prince as the latest musician to have a pair of albums all the way at the top of the tally.
