My number one is prob a South American tour: I have a friend from college who lives in Colombia so that would be a good place to start, then I'd wanna go west and south thru Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, etc.

    Also:
    Portugal/Spain/Morocco as I mentioned

    SE Asia/Oceania/Australia/NZ

    E/SE Europe (Greece/Croatia/Hungary/Poland/Romania/Czechia/etc) + Turkey

    Japan

Yeah I watched some half illegal NK Vlogs on youtube and it was awful. I feel so bad for the people living there. Imagine waking up everyday to that depressing morning song just to suffer another day.

One of my favorite conspiracy theories is "North Korean Utopia"—basically that North Korea is Wakanda and is actually super advanced and their whole facade is just a reverse-Potemkin village

It's tragic, all we have to go on from that early history are artifacts and such since no one was writing history books back then. It's literally destroyed our only links to the birth of civilization as we know it.

I am from Barcelona, great place, and Spain too as a whole (I prefer the green north, Basque country, Asturias, Galicia... very underrated)

Most random place ive been has to be in the Iraqui Kurdistan or Kosovo. Lived in the Balkans for a year, love the Yugoslavian history. Also lived in Turkey, too many nice things to see and eat.

One of my dream trips is to do a route in Central Asia, love the Turkic post Soviet stuff.

I cannot stress enough how much I think about this. My number one goal in life is to go on a round-the-world cruise.
99-120 days of chasing the sun and seeing some of the greatest parts of the world. Traditionally leaves UK waters early January and heads West. Caribbean/America mid-late Jan. New Zealand/Australia around Feb. Asia/Japan late Feb/March and Middle East/Europe mid March.

This is my retirement plan. Or lottery win plan. Whichever comes first. Cost is around about £30k per person for a decent cabin plus spending money probably another £20-30k so around £100k all in.

I'm saving as much money as physically possible right now so that I can look forward to a semi-luxurious life when I'm 60+. But this will take a good chunk of that cash.
