Aug 11, 2018 Kool G Rap is the best rhymer of all time. The way he strung his syllables together was just He took lyricism to the highest level it could possibly go. He took multi-syllabic rhyme schemes to a level that is still unheard of. In terms of other rappers that string multi-syllabic rhyme schemes together better than Eminem I'd say MF DOOM, Rakim, Pharoahe Monch, etc. In his prime, Eminem was a fantastic rhymer. His first three albums had some of the best rhyme schemes in hip-hop. While he is a great rhymer, I wouldn't call him the best by any means, simply because there are so many other rappers that rhyme better than him.
Aug 11, 2018 Kool G Rap had better rhyme schemes than Rakim at around the same time that he came out. LL Cool J is nowhere near Rakim or Kool G Rap's level in terms of rhyme schemes.

Aug 12, 2018 Yeah, then Rakim and G Rap started rhyming 3-4 (sometimes even 5) syllables per bar a year later, the only difference is that Rakim and G Rap we’re using much more complex schemes and different types of rhymes that were unheard of at the time.
