I've tried to enjoy Future but that auto tune intolerable. Kevin Gates is good tho As for Marshall he's our generation's Mozart or Picasso I don't think you can honestly say he's over rated.

So me enjoying these projects and records more than any other artist from any other genre. Is because of Eminem's song writing But I know he definitely is not top 15 rapper I can admit this no need to lie and pretend he But he makes things I enjoy in music the best such as hooks and songs overall songs

Mar 8, 2017 But this song is about loving his family Love songs dedicated to his daughter and how much she means to him and the struggles of parenting Love song dedicated to his mother and how much she means to him after all they been through Love songs dedicated to his ex wife and how much he loves her even after all they been through like divorcee These songs are the complete opposite to 'edgy' as u can get So u can fool yourself with the trolling but u can't fool the rest of the world Not to mention the type of songs u describe I dislike but love these songs and songs like this Your average Eminem fans likes and listen to and is a fan of his because of a song like Mockinbird. This was a top 10 hit more successful than any 'edgy' song
Mar 9, 2017 NO CHANCE. If anything he's one of the most underrated - he's overrated in terms of infatuation by some who maybe don't even understand half of his s--- - sure. But all of his credit is valid & more, and almost as a response to that infatuation / fan girls, he gets sh---ed on by hip-hop too. But he's not rated nearly enough for how impressive his thinking is at his best. How amazing his writing is. Not nearly enough, and given all that he's capable of - from storytelling, to politics, to introspection, to straight rap-about-rap, to inspiration... And he does each one of these things (at his best, again) amazingly well. That's just topics & lyricism, not even getting in to the 10,000 incredible styles he's invented, mastered, and the levels he's taken vocal performance to in rap. His intensity, the clarity and the energy... Like nothing before. As Sean Heaney once referred to his 'verbal energy'. He can be as powerful as like a proper voice artist, and convincingly enforce so many emotions and make things so dramatic. Given how many layers of talents he's got, and the levels he's taken rap to and evolved it... in so many directions... he rarely gets any of the praise deserved. MMLP is a pure masterpiece, and one of the most clever, powerful concept albums ever made. Yet even when it gets mentioned, Jay-Z or Kanye's s--- gets mentioned as if it's better (lel), their simplistic attempts in comparison. It just gets mentioned like 'oh yeah, that was a good one'. Which brings me to my next point, I'm a big fan of Kanye. But in response to this title - NO - KANYE is THEEEEEE most overrated rapper (by a country mile) and potentially artist ever. I think he's actually sold the critics on his self-praise. The amount of praise he gets like 'OMG ON THIS ALBUM HE ATTEMPTED TO ANALYSE HIMSELF A BIT, AND SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HIS FAME... AND HE PUT SOME STRINGS ON IT. THIS IS GROUNDBREAKING!!', it's completely absurd and out-of-whack with what he actually creates. And this is why serious poets & intellectuals are not praising Kanye like they did / do Eminem, as a writer and a thinker. I think Ye's greatest s--- will be looked back on like 'oh, that was cool, and he had an impact... but wow we were blinded. It's not that great', and Em's greatest s--- will be looked back on like 'wow, that guy was unreal'.
