Feb 7, 2017 So i went on Trumps twitter just then for s----s and gigs and I was shocked. Not only at how many times a day he tweets but also how he openly winges on there. To me, it seems totally unprofessional that the president is constantly ranting on twitter. Here's a couple from just the last day. Should the president of the U.S.A really be using twitter like this?
Feb 7, 2017 Probably not, though this Twitter thing is a gamechanger since we're watching the presidential process unfold in the process and it is a part of his "no-filter" campaign promise. But I would probably use it 10x more professionally yes.
Feb 7, 2017 If an employee of a company used a public social media account like that they'd be in deep s--- and probably fired. It's scary a president uses it the way he does in many ways.
Feb 7, 2017 I like the concept of transparency. I think it could also be used as a tool to expose other elected officials if they're not doing their job or whatever. Now the way Trump uses it...is a bit excessive.
Feb 7, 2017 well that totally depends on the kind of s--- he's getting done. Which by the looks of it is all negative and fear-based.
Feb 7, 2017 pretty shocking to see Obama's twitter too. It's all " im so happy, love eachother we're all so great" when literally 5 minutes before hitting the "send tweet" button he was mashing the f--- out of the "bomb the middle east" button
Feb 7, 2017 in Brazil Our President twits too..and I find it weird... but in the other hand...it's the most near contact they can have with the general public.
Feb 7, 2017 oh... so he can issue over 26,000 airstrikes on the middle east over 2016, which is 3 strikes every hour for the entire year, but only has time to tweet once a week?
Feb 7, 2017 He uses Twitter to control his message. Otherwise the dishonest media would twist whatever he says.
Feb 7, 2017 lol gott'em. but yeah nah, if it's fine for " i did nothing wrong today, love my family " obama, it's fine for Trump. though i'm not sure why Trump is still palying 7D checkers on twitter, the election is over and he has won so i'm interested to see his endgame.
Feb 7, 2017 Well, it's definitely working as a smokescreen to draw attention away from his various blunders.
