May 2, 2020 I've never heard it but people talk about it all the time. I've only heard MF Doom here and there. Should I listen? Has it aged well?
May 2, 2020 Yeah, I’d say it holds up. Madlib’s production is timeless and Doom was at his peak during the mid 2000’s. Most of the songs are short af so it’s an easy listen and not much of a commitment if you don’t like it
May 3, 2020 It's 2020- you don't have to ask to listen to anything. You have unlimited access to countless albums across all genres. You can just stream it and if it's not for you, stop streaming.
May 3, 2020 You don't have access to streaming services or Youtube? You don't have a lot of time right now? God forbid you listen to it and then discuss it.
May 3, 2020 One of the best rap albums of all time MF DOOM’s esoteric style was a match made in heaven for Madlib’s off-kilter production. There’s a lot of overzealous hype for anything listed as a “classic”, this one included, yet I feel it has plenty of personality to keep you engaged. If DOOM isn’t for you, you’ll still find appreciation for some of Madlib’s best work ever which is found on Madvillainy.
May 4, 2020 Took me years of occasional listens for this to click for me....I love it now How did you get on?
