Eminem Is MMLP *really* a classic?

    Yeah, i used the wrong words. I think it's obvious that people here will disagree with your opinion. To me, for example, MMLP is a classic even tho i think Em's best album is TES and i put it on the same level of the albums you posted above

    Tru, I skip it but it did have a massive impact
    It doesn't shock me anymore tho, and the story telling isn't as vivvid as I remember it being when I was younger,

    100% it's a classic. Don't forget the impact it had in its time and I doubt I'm the only person who will give it a spin every now and then in 2017

    Definitely his best album but none of them have aged particularly well.

    There are extremely mediocre and subpar tracks on there. Under the Influence is practically the definition of filler, and Amityville is a decent song pretty much ruined by Bizarre's verse (why he cut Royce in favor of Bizarre, I'll never know). Ken Kaniff speaks for itself. Whether those are flat-out bad is a matter of opinion, but they are filler and serve no real purpose on the album. A 9/10 or a 10/10 shouldn't have more than one filler track (for the record, I think MMLP is a solid 8).

    Under The Influence bad a--- and has a great hook from Em which is rare and all the verses are killer
    Amityville is hard as f--- one of the most angry raw Em deliveries I've ever heard, Bizzares verse is f----- but gets old but still would not call it filler

    They aren't filler they simply just show the alter egos of Marshall. Whether they are corny or funny or mediocre or good are subjective. Ken Kaniff was a diss so it's moreso outdated than bad

    Even if you don't consider MMLP a classic, TES and SSLP are undeniable classics.
    Even @WPG almost (almost) likes SSLP.

    you can't count ken kaniff as an actual song & while bizarre almost ruins amityville, em's last verse is maybe top 3 verse oat for him imo

    but ya, under the influence definitely filler for sure

    Of course it is a classic, his best album and not a single bad track on there. Kim is great, and even if Bizarre is awful on Amityville, Eminem makes up for it, third verse is fire.

    I'm not counting Ken Kaniff as an actual song, I'm counting it towards the album because it completely f---s up the mood and is painfully unfunny.
