Apr 21, 2019 Were Nas and Mobb Deep getting heavy radio play back in the 90's? Besides I dont think radio play is much of a metric for success these days. these guys are building loyal followings and rack up a decent amount streams and youtube views.
Apr 21, 2019 shook one's, h--- on earth were big radio plays. Nas was absolutely all over Hot 97 back in the 90s. I would agree nowadays that it's definitely not a metric for success, but usually these artists would have 1 or 2 radio friendly singles. I would love to see a NY comeback
