    It seems the album has a broad cult following and fans have come 2 appreciate this album long after release, for me it is his second best album and has the best production of his entire career. The story telling is vivvid the flows are superb and the deliveries are unique and risk taking in all the best ways. Including the Refill tracks there is only 1 track that I dislike.

    Amazing album.

    Totally addictive and such consistency. Next to MMLP for me in terms of his two albums with the most balls-out X VIBE, as in 'this is the sound, this is the feel - BOOM' from start to finish. They're both unapologetic, OTT and unique in that sense.

    People like me got absolutely stoned to death for saying this album was even close to good in the first couple of years. Now look at everybody. Some of us could hear the amazing from day 1, until magazines and other people convinced some to turn their ears off and go 'but the accent. But weird s---'. s---'s near classic.

    Should have came out as a double disc...Love this album for the most part tho. It's better than mmlp2 IMO.

    I said it was a cult clsssic on here like 5 years ago and got blasted but its certainly one of a kind and a very creative LP

    i like it enough that my version in itunes is 34 tracks long, if that tells you anything

    it's my favorite em album and the first one i ever heard in full.

    For other songs by Em, sure but idk man Relapse is just wonderful 2 me. It's sadistic in a cartoony way and it's just so enjoyable. It doesn't try 2 be disturbing it's just a fun peak into the fantasies of a serial killer fanboy/copy cat with a multi personality disorder. Not only is the music dope but certain songs like Deja Vu and Same Song And Dance are just so interesting and thought provoking 2 me.

    I've loved this album ever since the release. I didn't listen to much rap until this album came out but to answer your Question yes this is a cult classic. People seem to either love it or hate it

    I always thought the accent was cool. Never bothered me. If anything it fits the insane character on the album perfectly and it almost doesnt feel like it's Eminem but someone who actually is a psychopath drug addict

    Slim Shady LP was the cartoonish Slim Shady. That's what Slim Shady is supposed to be.

    Hands down, the album I play the MOST out of every Em (and other album for that matter).

    It never gets old, the concept is great, cover-to-cover story is incredible and all-round just a kick a--- album!

    Wish we got another one!!!
