May 16, 2018 I've seen two doctors and neither even seriously entertained the idea. I've had swimmer's ear before. This is definitely a different beast. Thanks, man. Appreciate the concern.
May 16, 2018 lmao as soon as i saw the title of this thread i lowered the volume of the music in my earbuds
May 18, 2018 Third doctor's visit. Got the pain under control finally. It's the worst case of swimmer's ear the physician said they've ever seen and the jaw pain and swelling is likely from it flaring up my TMJ. So the inflammation likely isn't the result of an infection as I've never run a temperature (good outlock for not going permadeaf). They prescribed me drops that I can use regardless of whether my ear drum is ruptured or not. I suspect it is but the canal is still too swollen to see. I stopped taking the drops the ER prescribed because they are the drops that can f--- your hearing if you take them with a ruptured drum. Props to that guy who gave them to me even though I told him I was concerned and convinced my eardrum is ruptured. Good thing I was so worried about losing my hearing I Googled all this s--- on my own. Everything is cool now. No hearing still out of it, but no pain. I'm on the right medications after visits to 3 different clinicians. I feel a lot less worried now. The moral of the story is to not use q-tips after a shower and use a hair dryer to make them s----s dry. This was a terrible ordeal to suffer for not doing that lol.
May 18, 2018 The prospect of losing my hearing had me shook as f--- so thanks to all who didn't just say "nobody gives a s---".
May 19, 2018 weird, that same thing happens to me once a year it doesnt stem from a cough though..just hardened ear wax. I be washing that s--- honestly but it usually happens around this time..I just get the joint flushed with water and some other s--- at the clinic has your s--- just been getting worse or?
May 19, 2018 google strapedectomy or some s--- like that im not a doctor so cant spell it c----, but i think the disorder that procedure is related to is what u have (and probably what i have). sometimes it kinda feels like a bug is crawling around inside one of my ears, but it's like a growth in the ear canal or some s--- which is like swimmers ear but super saiyan.
Feb 1, 2024 Ohhh, that ringing in my ears... I've had tinnitus for several years now, and, for the most part, I can deal with it and cope. However, recently, the symptoms have been worsening. I'm planning to get a professional ear cleaning in the coming days and see if that provides some relief. My friend tried this procedure, and it worked for her. Fingers crossed for some good vibes in my situation too!
Feb 13, 2024 I've found myself in similar situations many times too. I tried many things to cope with tinnitus, ear pain and sometimes even with hearing lost, but visiting ear wax removal doctor twice a year makes my situation a little better in general. I found relief through visiting an ear wax removal doctor and discovering the significance of professional ear cleaning and lifestyle changes! It has positively impacted my overall health, potentially influencing the symptoms of ear noise, so highly recommend, guys!
