    I don't trust projections, his first 3 albums they underestimated him and he blew them out of the water. Wouldn't be surprised if they overestimated him this time because of his first 3 albums.

    Feel like the last verse of Folding Clothes was a stand alone verse, by that b---- IB probably suggested to make it a song.

    The last verse on Folding Clothes is nice, but the rest of it can go to h---. There's no way around how bad that song is.

    foldin clothes isn't literally, about folding clothes, it could've been anything.
    folding clothes is a metaphor for doing things in your relationship, valuing your partner, respecting them and tending to them as you were folding clothes, keep that s--- clean.

    first listen, I enjoyed.
    This album is beautiful, that's the first word that came to my mind when I finished.

    4 your eyez only title track was also crazy good, that last verse gave me chills man.

    It's a nice detail, the first songs begins with a tape recorder starts playing, and the last songs ends with the tape recorder stopping.

    I agree it would fit but I don't think this album has a gap. It just misses the mark in its purpose with certain songs.

    1. Deja Vu is cool, but thats it. Maybe because Tiller already murdered that s--- (even though I really like False Prophets and Joeybad murdered Waves). Maybe its the hook. Like the Pac inflection, but its missing something. Should have just been improved cause the idea is fine
    2. The bangers on this album are nice. Like Immortal is dope but it should b--- way harder. Beat wise I feel like the 808s should hit harder. Same with Neighbors but I also feel like the beat is a little bland even though I still like it.
    3. The Jazz/Soul songs have all grown on me. His weird high pitched vocals and s--- all dope to me now.
    4. 4YEO title track makes up for all the flaws on this album. Doesn't make it a perfect album or a 10 or anything like that but it wraps up the album so nicely that nothing feels excessive or misplaced. Easily the best written song of his career.

    thats what i wonder ... what has he been doing the past 2 years?

    i understand he had the tour, then probably took a bit of time off ...

    lets say starting from when the black friday remixes starts, so lets be fair and say its really closer to like a year that he could have been working on an album ...

    1. what was he referring to with "this february"? when/why did that plan change?
    2. when did he come up with this particular album concept and how long has he working on it?
    3. how many good songs not related to the concept did he cut and how many more songs with the concept does he have

    I just feel like people setting themselves up for disappointment with the Cole/Kendrick collab because there is probably already a preconceived idea of what/how album should be in our heads..just saying.
