    I think so. Come to think of it, it could of swapped Ville Mentality as he is in jail while his girl is holding him down. Which would have been addressed in She's Mine pt. 1. Oh no...

    we have a lot of the same thoughts ....

    1. exactly, i like deja vu and i love the "double hook" but the beat should been changed ...
    2. i feel the exact same way about immortal as well

    As good as it was, Dreams was f----- up bro. Deja Vu a way more mature and realistic look at the situation

    the thing is idk if i would even be mad if you told me i could never listen to immortal and folding clothes ever again ... like already, after only 3-4 listens

    even FHD with hello i still felt like i would want to listen to it again, like i wanted to try and make it grow on me ...with these i have no desire to make them grow on me

    i guess thats my major problem is theres two songs i wouldn't be mad to never hear again and thats a bad thing for me with a cole album (especially one with only 10 songs)

    it just goes to show how my levels of stannery have decreased as well tho

    he's still my favourite artit but i guess i just have a more balanced taste now

    Given up tryna catch up on the thread but some thoughts...

    Folding clothes is actually a dope song if you ignore the lyrics. Like I can imagine it being a maroon 5 track on the radio and I think that's the vibe that Cole was going for. But I can't believe he devoted more than 5 mins of a 40 min album to it. That's inexplicable.

    Another typical Cole move is not displaying Ari as a feature on Change. I think she did enough to warrant a feature but it seems to be Cole's stubborness for that not to happen. Would have been great exposure for her if she was the only other name on the tracklist. Classic Cole shooting down his own artists again.

    i was going to say that same thing that its like dreams lol, but definitely not to the point where its part 2

    i actually really like deja vu man

    like i said the double hook, the end "i know you were made for me" ... i love that

    i just can't get over exchange, cole probably has 100 beats in the vault I'm sure one of them would have fit with the song tempo wise and everything to the point where he wouldn't have even had to change anything lol

    I def feel you but I think what made that song so goat was how he tried to capture the infatuation phase that you have about a girl you just admire from afar and don't even know. Of course it's way too far-fetched but that's the kind of thought process a lot of guys go through when they just become plain infatuated

    To be fair though I don't think someone should change a song because a beat got jacked from them, especially if you love the song. I'm not that beat because this beat is even fuller than the Tiller version its just gotta be really dope and its just cool to me. Dudes flip the same samples all the time and its not that big of a deal.

    i guess its just because i actually really do like exchange and listened to it a decent amount so its just always in my mind when i listen you know

    if i never really listened to exchange i probably wouldn't care

    Yeah exactly, exchange is still too recent and on the airwaves for him to just come and use it as his own in 2016. If he was sitting on the beat then that's an L and he should have taken it like the Stay song that Nas took. Deja vu is still a great version but thats the problem, it feels like another version
