    I think it will be
    The movie could be cole going back in time or watching his friend from a far songs 2-6 7-10 after cole moves (neighbors) from the hood thinking he would find something different (moving to NY) also thinking about what if james had the chance to change how would he live. probably what cole is realizing what he has to do now in his relationship which is be a better boyfriend and father (folding clothes) then after being a dad claiming his love for his daughter, then the summary (4 your eyes only)

    Cole and James experienced the same problems just at different times

    2- James growing up seeing people die around him
    3- james meeting his future baby mom
    4- trying to leave the hood (Ville)
    5-About being with his baby mom
    6-trying to change then dying
    7- cole as the observer moving to a better place after funeral of his friend
    8- being a better boyfriend after his time in the rap game
    9- having a new born
    10-Summary of the album

    for the people who wanted to know in the background part where he is saying "she f--- with small town n----s, i got bigger dreams" he is saying "my friend died no lie, aye" cant make out the rest. remember reading it somewhere, the person said the rest, forgot what it was though.
