Dec 11, 2016 Those who call J. Cole trash, an artist who consistently delivers food for thought... I believe they're afraid to think. They fear reality. J. Cole's lyrics, accompanied with mellow beats, impel you to think about what's real. His antagonists only want noise, syrup, and numbness. J. Cole is therapeutic. They don't want that; they prefer rappers who keep the mind/senses cluttered with chaos and dumbed down. It's fear. J. Cole's antagonists fear rappers who can lyrically tear down egoistic walls, unveiling the superficial life they live. They can't face it. Rather than face truth, i.e., Cole threatens the thing that validates them (their ego), they deflect exposure & cast blame on his skills. Just say you don't like his music. He paints life, motivation for those trapped in desolate conditions. You don't appreciate it, but we do. J. Cole makes music for the conversationalist's backdrop, parked in the whip with ya girl or homies politicking about what matters in life. J. Cole makes music for those long trips home after the semester is over, when you want serenity and wise words, a moment to reflect back. The game needs more talented humble people like J. Cole who've reached stardom but are still tangible & relatable. This inspires the youth. The problem with listeners today is they don't appreciate the fundamentals and original purpose of art, in this case music. They don't appreciate tragedy, the conveyance of pain, of art imitating life. All they care about is gibberish over catchy beats & hooks. And that's exactly what our government wants, rappers dumbing us down, deluging our DNA with senselessness so we don't see the big picture. We need balance, a lot of y'all are zoned out on music that feeds your reptilian brain while starving your higher self. This phenomenon is a product of hip hop culture's appropriation and hijacking, then packaged and fed back to us devoid of the fundamentals. We need to get back to the fundamentals of Hip Hop and stop letting Jews like Lyor Cohen exploit and dictate our culture to us. COLE WORLD. 4 YOUR EYEZ ONLY OUT NOW.
