I'm not defending his idea word for word. I'm defending that its an idea that can legitimately be looked into.

Dedicated and motivated teachers actually do things like that though during summer breaks to really expand on the bland and boring curriculums they are presented to teach. Imagine your teachers reading state requirements word for word to you. You're not going to care about that s---.

You’re lumping all of the rich folk together. Based on Cole’s whole career he doesn’t come off like the oligarchs who pay off politicians to get policies that benefit only them. He specifically pointed out he’s against gun companies buying off politicians. So he is indeed not in favor of the rich dictating policies in that specific case. It SOUNDS like Cole would be on the side of the general pubic on the gun issue. He doesn’t want Congress bought off by gun companies.

But it’s not exactly clear where he stands on where he wants his tax money to go. You’d have to go on a case by case basis. But he clearly states he’s against gun companies (who are richer than Cole) from buying off politicians

If I could choose where my taxes go they’d go to healthcare, infrastructure, green and renewable energy and tuition free college. @Charlie Work

They don't dictate that substance, only the style, and they have far less control than the bodies you'd actually want to reform to change anything.

Did you even read my post? Acknowledged his ends are mostly agreeable, it's the means which would leave the door open for any idiot with money to dictate policy. It's a dumb system. "You're relying on a benevolent capitalist." I already addressed all of this.

Yeah, money in politics is bad and people with money shouldn’t dictate policy. Any reasonable person agrees with this

If I had a net worth of 20 million I’d be pissed my tax dollars are going to endless war, weapons and corporate welfare. I would publicly state it too and I would go even further in saying that I’d rather have my tax dollars go elsewhere to s--- that makes sense like in my previous post

That doesn’t mean I’d be open to buying off politicians and trying to dictate policy. It just means I’d rather have my taxes go towards things that make sense

If we actually had a Congress and President in office who actually represent the people I don’t think Cole would b---- that his tax dollars actually went to s--- that helped people...healthcare, education, etc @Charlie Work the app line and wanting his tax dollars to go to s--- isn’t scandalous and doesn’t means he wants to dictate policy like an oligarch. I want my taxes to go towards different s---, too.

I like this album tbh, at least I like it more than 4YEO which was a snoozefest, it’s interesting. Still a good amount of corny s--- “meditate, don’t medicate”

Also that whole Motiv8 song is trash sounds like some corny big sean type s---. I like the flows he brings even tho some of them are obvious ripoffs of other artists (he bit ski mask’s flow on photograph, drakes on another song). Some heartfelt lyrics on “Friends”. Production is nothing special tho throughout the album. Overall at least it’s not boring and I’m interested to see what 1985 leads into
