    J. Cole definitely shines in a crowd full of amateurs, but to not come out with an album for 2 years and then it only have 10 tracks for a total of 44 minutes, including the last drawn out track? Just seems like amateur work to me compared to Lupe's 12 track (skits excluded) masterpiece with only one song barely under 4 minutes. To me, it just seems like you care about your art and music when you can create a song that's more than just the typical 16 bar - Hook - 16 bar - Hook - 16 bar - Hook 3 minute formula....I don't see how you can compare the two artists as being on the same level. Lupe far superior to his art.

    Long tracks don't make an album better

    Look at Nas' illmatic, one of the more basic concise rap records of the 90s and yet the most acclaimed and hailed as best ever more than any other record
