    Finally got around to listening to Bas' album and I was pleasantly surprised. Solid album but he needs more to be able to get his sales up. The whole dreamville squad does besides Cole. People will listen to Night Job for Cole and then forget that his artist dropped an album.

    I would let it slide before FHD but now? Like what :what22:
    January 28, atotc, GOMD, fire squad, and st. Tropez have some of the best beats out there.
    Not even mentioning the perfect atmosphere of the intro and note to self :srsguy:

    7-7.5/10 respectable debut, but could've been much more.

    Trim the fat (remove fart line on DAAD3, cut Mr. Nice Watch and Cole World title track...very forced mainstream tracks) and replace those two with Higher and 2 Face. Also throw Show Me Something in the mix = very, very solid debut

    He does get mentioned. He gets nominated for all the hip hop catogory awards at all award shows since his debut. he dont win them all, but he gets nominated. (won 2 rap aoty awards off FHD) What other heavyweights in the game is on his level or above him other than Drake and Kendrick?

    Popping in clubs? eh... i dont go to clubs, that s--- for the birds. you go to a club around here you liable to get shot or robbed. so I wouldn't know. but he gets radio play all day.

    Cole is not underrated imo, i think that's just a meme on the net. like that you got to have a certain level of intelligence to listen to cole meme

    Bro, I was born in Mexico... I live in the US and have a great job. I b---- and complain about a lot that is wrong with this country... I know compared to others this is f---ing Heaven, but it erks me to see the type of s--- that goes on in the most affluent country in the world. If this is supposed to be the best place ever to live and we have all these benefits, why can't we end the homeless problem... why do we still treat each other different.

    I saw recently that the Dominican republic was kicking Haitians out because they are taking jobs... most of it because Haiti is so impoverished. They don't like them in the DR because of the way they look and act... I don't know why I bring this up... but it just goes to show that s--- just isn't happening in the US... but if I live here... might as well try and make it a better place while I'm on it right?

    Spot on, now that it's been broken down. Good review. On a superficial level, it's a great album. Going more deeply, I see the shortcomings.

    Something a lot of us been saying bout him for years. His writing since FNL has been unbelievably lazy. Way too many lines that make u scratch ur head and say really? Dude thought that was clever?
