    Yeah man, I suggest this. No theme, just bars flexing. A glorified mixtape in a sense. Songs like Caged Bird would have been perfect.

    I may be the only one that thinks this but I want a theme with the album with mixtape level bars.

    Compilation type albums are dope but concept/themes give an album way more meaning to me personally. Even if it's not a specific concept I still want the album to have a certain sound or feel even without a specific concept like NWTS for example.

    That's just my take on it though.

    Edit: theme isn't just about the subject matter like you mentioned. Could be how it sounds

    In a sense. Born Sinner dope it just not my favorite version of Cole. I like inspirational, energetic Cole more than depressed Cole.

    Plus Born Sinner first half is really dope, but the second half not as quality and the concept wasn't executed as well as it could have been.
