Ehh. If you lookin at it that way then im missing out on literally thousands of good songs out there. Bas aint on top of my priority list

Dreamville as a label are going to stay irrelevant until they start putting in that ground work. Bas open for 2 Cole world tours, did festivals and only did 8,000 plus and couldn't even get to 10,000 with streams. Dreamville going to in debt to or dropped from interscope. Look what joey bad a--- is doing independently.

Finally got around to listening to Bas' album and I was pleasantly surprised. Solid album but he needs more to be able to get his sales up. The whole dreamville squad does besides Cole. People will listen to Night Job for Cole and then forget that his artist dropped an album.

If Bas is meant to sell albums he'll get there eventually. But Dreamville has done enough. He's been on two tours now and his own solo tour. Features with Cole on his albums and even on Coles album. There's nothing left for Cole to do but just let Bas's album naturally reach more ears. Bas doing fine anyway. Probably making a killing off touring and merch.

Dreamville will be good. Got to start somewhere. Its doing a lot better than a lot of artist labels. Dreamchasers and OVO for example. At least dreamville is making moves.

lute should be doing club tours, Bas and Cozz should be doing college tours right now not just depending on Cole connections. You can't compare Dreamville to OVO, Party contributed to the number 1 song in the Country and most of their artists write and produce for Drake and others.

What moves are Dreamville making? I only see Cole

Bas already had his own solo tour for last winter before FHD tour and Cozz just had a four-to-five city tour, but again touring alone is not enough. The music just hasn't connected on that scale. Even Party, or Majid Jordan, or Roy Woods isn't having the success Weeknd or even Bryson Tiller is having. Who knows exactly why, but people really put too much pressure on Cole and Drake to make people's career "successful". There's only so much that can be done. Some things can't necessarily be explained. You can force feed people a bunch of content and give a lot of exposure doesn't mean its gonna boost sales. If not PND and Majid Jordan would be doing more numbers than Tiller.

We never were. DJ Booth made a mistake that day and made a correction. The song was a King Mez track only. He just said that Cole had heard it and loved it but Cole isn't featured on it.

You're right. And I have a feeling that Cole is more hands off with his signees in the way Jay-Z was with Cole because Hov shoved Bleek down everyone's throats and it backfired. In my opinion, you need to let your artists grow on their own unless they occupy a similar niche in the market. None of the Dreamville artists have the same kinds of fans as Cole so he's gotta let them breathe. He's done plenty and continues to do plenty for them in my opinion.
