I mean dude had offers on the table from basically every label so it ain't like it's some bum trying to sign. Cole did him wrong and that's a shame for him, imagine if he signed J.I.D and Joyner. That label would run the game in 2 years tops and "be on every show". It's a funny situation.

    Ibrahim Hamad

College friend-turned-manager Ibrahim Hamad met J. Cole at St. John’s University over a decade ago. Once he discovered Cole’s passion for rapping, he began “just doing whatever i could do to help out.” Hamad’s role has been instrumental in growing a grassroots fan base for Cole that has also boosted his earnings to $19 million in 2017. Rob Gibbs

Touring is one of the most important aspects of an artist’s career - not to mention one of their main sources of income. Trusting your touring career to the co-head of ICM’s urban music department, Rob Gibbs, would be a savvy and potentially lucrative move. According to Gibbs in HBO’s Forest Hills Drive special, J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive tour moved 565,000-575,000 tickets in 2015. According to Billboard, the tour grossed over $16 million from July to September of the same year.

$19M for the tours this year or just $19M in general? But d---, impressive. He made $8M that one year, doubled that pretty much this year.
