    I’m late but just listened to that IB podcast interview about J coles come up to current album. Truly amazing, I Highly recommend it. It got me mad happy for some reason.

    Not if you know anything about management, but that is exactly what you’re supposed to do, in the business world and music world. The other way just makes no sense.

    Honestly these are incomparable. As a project as an art form Views doesn’t have s--- on 4ye0. It got hits tho, cool. Cole can’t make an album like views and Drake can’t ever make an album like 4ye0 so and we all know this so for me it’s just hard to compar em.

    Hov signed tons.. none of em better than him. Successful mogul. Kanye signed a bunch, none of em better than him. Rarely do top tier rappers have people signed to them that are much better. It’s a W for Cole to have JID don’t get me wrong. But it’s rare.

    The point is to sign people who are better than you, you think Hov wanted his artist to not be better than him? That’s hustling backwards fam.

    Can’t speak for Hov but I can’t imagjen he didn’t want his artists to be great and fill his pockets
