I definitely understand Runaway way better now after being in a relationship. It definitely hits home.

This is my Born Sinner. The songs that actually made the album are kind of the "Sinner" part of it. What he's doing in his new life as a superstar rapper. And I put a bunch of the Truly Yours / other loosies from that time that are largely Fayetteville stories which make up the "Born" part of it. The stories, beyond just being dope a--- songs that should've been on the album, give depth and character and better explain the sinner aspect of it. Without it, the concept of the album kind of falls flat to me. Kind of like a rich famous guy talking about being guilty about being rich and famous. Which, as much as I like BS, I do think that's the story the actual tracklist tells. Now they'd need to make tweaks to some of these songs to make it work right but you get the idea.

    1. Grew Up Fast
    2. Crunch Time
    3. Power Trip
    4. Mo Money
    5. Kenny Lofton
    6. Runaway
    7. She Knows
    8. Rich N--
    9. Tears for ODB
    10. Cousins
    11. 3 Wishes
    12. Head Bussa
    13. I'm A Fool
    14. Ain't That Some s---
    15. Crooked Smile
    16. Can I Holla At Ya?
    17. Born Sinner

    That's a classic bro

I truly don’t know but I see a lot of people say this on social media. Do y’all think Kendrick is dissing Cole on his new album( didn’t listen to the album yet). Do y’all also think that it’s a coincidence that he keeps announcing stuff the same time as Cole

Stg I was gon post this in here yesterday lol, I think he getting at him on the low, not dissing him in a song, but trying to one up him with s---.. I don’t think it’s a coincidence he announcing s--- every time cole announce, I was thinking the same thing. Idk if he dissing him on the album tho, cause I played it like one time straight through.. I think cole dropping It’s a Boy or something this month, and when cole announce the drop Kendrick gon announce whatever else he got, ppl close to Kendrick been saying he got some more s--- coming..

That s--- also had me wondering are ppl at interscope or UMG telling Kendrick when cole is going to drop or announce his s---?? I wouldn’t put it past them tbr. Yall know cole under UMG and interscope too.. They was probably telling Kendrick when Drake was gon drop his s--- too during the whole back and forth.. s--- crazy.. somebody need to get at Kendrick fr if that’s going on behind the scenes .. I’m lowkey tired of seeing the dickriding that’s going on.. that’s all the media talking bout like ain’t s--- else going on in hip hop, somebody got stinger tired of the bs lol

Check out the comments section. CEO of America’s biggest private health insurance company got gunned down in NYC. Gunman still on the loose.

people are fed up with our for profit health insurance system. They rip so many people off.

I listened to TOS this morning. First time since the Inevitable series started. One thing was very clear. That album is qualitatively leaps and bounds better than the older Cole I've been listening to including TWU and FNL. Now those tapes have something TOS can't have which is where Cole was in his story, where I was in my life and the attachment I have to both. That's why I say qualitatively. I don't even know if I LIKE it better. But d---. The production. The sonics. His vocal performance and writing ability. His rapping ability. All leaps and bounds better. Especially listening to My Life after spending a lot of time recently with his early singles and attempts. This is a different man.

100 mil…while not a bad cut…is weakest on TOS. Replace it with High For Hours (with a verse 3) and The Offseason Freestyle…the s--- from LA Leakers Freestyle but over his own production.

TOS is nuts though. Crazy good rapping on it throughout.

I don't think they really care like that anymore. I think it just speaks to the fact that they were off spiritually and that was reflected in the music.

His rapping infinitely better, his mixtapes have more hunger/struggle relatable bars which make them dope. He did a lot of that in FHD too, hopefully we see some themes in Fall off as well. MDL and Offseason were mostly braggin bars and flexing his rap skills. Not too many storytelling songs either.

The collab album idea came from Kendrick anyways. He was tryna use Cole to boost his name up. Cole and Kendrick rapping styles never meshed. I doubt they recorded songs together since then.
